Finally purchased a tent. I also bought a hammock… I have had some back issues and this will definitely help me get some sleep in the woods. I just need to figure out how to rig a mosquito net to it.

Thought I’d post a pick of the progress I’m making with my “get home bag” and/or 3-5 day hiking pack. I’m slowly but surely adding necessary supplies.

Hiking & Camping

Ok, so i really really want to get back into hiking and camping. I don’t think I’ll have to pull Amy’s leg too hard to get back into it. It was something that we enjoyed before we got married. I just wanna get back doing things outside. I’m tired of spending so much time on the computer. For all you who don’t know, I deleted my Twitter and Facebook accounts.

It’s time for a change.

In the pick above are some of the items I’ve been trying to piece together for my pack. Got a machete, fire starters, folding blade, Leatherman Multi-tool, and a 200 piece first aid kit. Oh and can’t forget mister G23.
